Duct areas — the narrow vertical spaces between buildings, around lift shafts, and in ventilation systems — are often overlooked safety hazards in Vijayawada's apartments and commercial complexes. These confined spaces pose serious risks: birds can nest and die in them causing hygiene issues, debris accumulates creating hazards, and workers face risks in unprotected areas. NDP Safety Nets provides specialized duct area safety net solutions for these challenging spaces.
Our duct area safety nets are installed by technicians trained in confined space safety protocols. We understand the unique challenges of working in tight, narrow, and poorly lit duct areas, and we have the specialized equipment and expertise to deliver professional installations that standard safety net companies cannot match in Vijayawada or anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.
Types of Duct Areas We Cover
Lift shaft tops are a common installation point — we install safety nets above lift cars to catch debris that might interfere with lift operation while preventing bird nesting in warm, sheltered spaces. Light wells between buildings are another frequent application, where safety nets prevent fallen objects from becoming dangerous projectiles in high-traffic areas below the building structure.
Ventilation duct openings on building exteriors require specialized bird exclusion nets that allow airflow while preventing bird entry. These are particularly important for HVAC systems in offices and commercial buildings where bird nesting in ducts can damage equipment, reduce efficiency, and create hygiene issues throughout the building's entire air circulation system.
Safety Standards
All our duct area safety net installations in Vijayawada follow BIS guidelines for fall protection and safety nets. Our technicians use appropriate safety harnesses and equipment for work in enclosed areas. The nets are tested to withstand loads specified in IS 11057-2020 for safety netting in building operations across Andhra Pradesh.
