Invisible grills represent the perfect marriage of security and aesthetics — a modern solution that protects your home without the visual obstruction of traditional iron grills. NDP Safety Nets is Vijayawada's leading installer of premium invisible grills, having transformed hundreds of apartments and villas with sleek, durable cable grill systems that allow unobstructed views while providing maximum security for residents and their families.
Traditional iron window grills, while effective at deterring intruders, create a visual barrier that makes rooms feel smaller, reduces natural light, and gives buildings a prison-like appearance. Modern invisible grills eliminate all these drawbacks. Constructed from ultra-thin stainless steel cables tensioned between floor and ceiling anchor points, invisible grills are virtually undetectable from outside while providing a security barrier that is extremely difficult to bypass.
How Invisible Grills Work
The term invisible grill refers to high-tensile stainless steel cables, typically 3-4mm in diameter, installed vertically at intervals of approximately 10 centimeters. The cables are tensioned using specialized fittings at the top and bottom, ensuring they remain rigid and close together even under lateral force. The cables are anchored to a concealed horizontal track at the top and bottom of the window or balcony opening, finished to match the wall for a seamless Vijayawada apartment appearance.
The vertical cable spacing is calculated to prevent an adult from forcing their body through the grill while maintaining an essentially open, unobstructed view. From inside the room, the cables are nearly invisible against any background, allowing full enjoyment of the view. From outside, the cables blend into the building's facade and are difficult to detect from street level — making your home secure while maintaining its elegant exterior appearance.
Material Quality
NDP Safety Nets uses only AISI 316-grade marine stainless steel cables for all invisible grill installations in Vijayawada. This grade contains molybdenum providing superior resistance to chloride-induced corrosion — critical in Andhra Pradesh's coastal cities including Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, and Ongole where sea air accelerates corrosion on metal surfaces exposed to the elements.
